Connecting Mayan knowledge for a sustainable future.
The SIM is a collective organization that, from an indigenous worldview and resistance, provides tools for social transformation to the Maya communities of Chiapas through education: art, peacebuilding, and agroecology.
Agroecology
We promote sustainable and autonomous agriculture.
Culture and Art
We preserve and promote Mayan culture.
Peace and Community
We train children and youth in peace and leadership.

Who are we?
We are an organization that supports indigenous communities through education, agroecology, faith, and peace.
Our vision: SIM aims to enhance the autonomy of indigenous peoples and strengthen networks around solidarity initiatives and projects, especially for vulnerable groups, promoting the construction of Jesus' project for an inclusive world.
Our mission: SIM contributes to the care and integral defense of life through peacebuilding, agroecology, and faith, fostering intercultural encounters from a spirituality committed to life.
The team
We are a multidisciplinary team from different cultures, dedicated to supporting the Mayan communities through educational, health, and sustainable development initiatives.
