Who do we work with?

We collaborate with Mayan families from rural communities in Chiapas, interested in developing peace and agroecology projects.

The communities

The SIM supports 15 communities located primarily in the Highlands of Chiapas, as well as in the Northern Mountains and Jungle regions. These Tsotsil and Tseltal-speaking communities contribute invaluable cultural richness and knowledge to SIM's projects.
